Health Equity has long been central to the American Heart Association’s mission and is foundational to our 2024 impact goal to advance cardiovascular health for all, including identifying and removing barriers to health care access and quality.
Together with the Business Roundtable’s corporate actions and recommendations to advance racial equity, justice and economic opportunity in America, the two organizations are joining forces to educate and inspire employers to advance health equity.
A virtual panel discussion, in honor of Bernard J. Tyson –who dedicated his livelihood to affordable, accessible healthcare for all – will examine how employers can build a more equitable workplace and community. The AHA’s CEO Roundtable and Business Roundtable will convene CEO panelists to power this discussion leveraging AHA’s trusted brand and science together with the Business Roundtable’s economic acumen.
